Repertoire includes Vaughan Williams, Penderecki, Bach and others. 2:00 p.m., Recital Hall Jan 23-26 -- Brass Band of Battle Creek performing at Grand Cayman Island "National Day of Heroes" Feb 15 (or somewhere in there) Detroit Symphony Orchestra; Ein Heldenleben. I'll post the specific dates soon. March 15 -- 3rd DMA recital at UM. 2:00 p.m., Stamps Auditorium. March 28 -- Brass Band of Battle Creek Spring Concert; 8:00 p.m., W.K. Kellogg Auditorium. December 6 - Brass Band of Battle Creek annual holiday concert. I wil be performing 'All Those Endearing Young Charms' on euphonium. My first solo with the BBBC - can't wait! November 9 - My first DMA recital. 1:00 p.m., UM Music School November 2 - MSU tuba-euphonium day. Performing on euph. as well as participating in clinics, mass ensemble, and other activities. Hosted by Phil Sinder. September 28 - Joint fall recital with Don Babcock, EMU trombone professor. Somehow, this is our FIFTH annual fall recital! I'll be playing the Broughton sonata, the Vaughan Williams 'Six Studies in English Folksong', and the Goedicke COncert Etude Op. 49 August 16&17 - Brass Band of Battle Creek; concerts in Battle Creek and Chicago's Millennium Park. www.BBBC.net August 2 - Detroit Symphony Orchestra; Pictures at an Exhibition (Mussourgsky/Ravel arr. March 8-12 Brass Band of Battle Creek The BBBC performs at home in Battle Creek on March 8th, and then we hit the road for a brief stint in FL (Sarasota and Englewood). Should be a good trip, especially given the unusually miserable winter we've had here in Michigan this year. March 27 - 30 North American Brass Band Association Championships. I haven't been to NABBA in quite a few years, so this should be a fun event in Louisville. I will be adjudicating and giving some sort of masterclass

April 1st -- This is our "Spring Low Brass Fest" at EMU; featuring performances by the EMU trombone ensemble and chamber groups, as well as the tuba/euph ensemble and chamber groups. Pease Auditorium, 8:00 p.m. April 3,5,6 -- performances with the Detroit Symphony. I will be playing on John Corigliano's 'Circus Maximus' conducted by Leonard Slatkin. www.DetroitSymphony.com April 17, 18 -- performances with the Kalamazoo Symphony.
